Inspired large windows in country houses that I saw on Pinterest. Large space filled with books ... probably for complete comfort.
The idea was to divide the three main sources of light, as in the main light source - the sun (the window) is always a need. Then skylight - to work with clients in the dark. And lower light - because that house is yours and if you set the fireplace, it turns a living room. And so the room can be used for meeting friends (party) and for romantic evenings.
